Each tube of mitigem cream contains :
crotonyl-n-ethyl-o- toluidine (crotamiton) 10% w/w, inert cream base (o/w) to 100%.

INDICATION: Mitigem is indicated in the treatment of scabies and relief of pruritis associated with various disorders.

CONTRA-INDICATIONS: Mitigem should not be used in the presence of acute exudative dermatitis, or in patients who develop sensitivity and allergic reaction.

PRECAUTION: It should never be applied near the eyes or allowed to come in contact with the conjuctivitis. where such accident occurs the eyes should be thoroghly washed with water.

PREGNANCY/BREAST FEEDING: There are no controlled studies in pregnant women and animals, potential benefit compared with the potential risk to the foetus becomes the yardstick for the administration of the cream in this circumstance.
Nursing mothers should however not apply the cream to the nipple area.

Application and Dosage: Scabbies: Thoroughly massage the cream into the
skin of the whole body from the chin down, after a hot bathe and drying, paying attention to all body folds and creases. Clothings and bed lines should be changed the next morning to avoid re-infection.
