THE
BOARD
In the Board of the Company are the following notable
and distinguished Nigerians who have achieved success
in their chosen careers:
DR MICHAEL B. UNUANE: DOM, MD, FIM
CHAIRMAN
Renowned German-trained specialist physician of
international repute, and industrialist.
1983: Returned to Nigeria and established Iduna
Specialist Hospital. Same year appointed Private
Consultant to the Federal Civil Service Commission
of Nigeria. His Iduna Specialist Hospital became
consulting Hospital to various Embassies, National
and International Companies in Nigeria
1986: Private Physician to the Vice President of
the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Same year Iduna
Specialist Hospital was accredited Referral Center
to State House Clinic Lagos/Abuja for specialized
investigations and treatment. In this capacity gave
medical treatment to various Heads of States, Members
of the Federal Executive Council, Service Chiefs,
senior members of the Armed Forces of the Federal
Republic of Nigeria, Permanent Secretaries, Directors
of various ministries etc.
1972: Founded and incorporated Gemini Pharmaceuticals
Nigeria Limited with Bayer AG of Federal Republic
of Germany. Member of Board of Directors, Globemark
Nigeria Limited, the first indigenous company to
discover Gold in commercial quantity in the country.
1986 - 2004 Member of the Board of Governors of
German School, Lagos.
HRH H. ALIRU MOMOH: LLB, FCCA, FCA
DIRECTOR
His Royal Highness, H.A. Momoh, the Otaru of Auchi
is a fellow of the Association of Certified and
Chartered Accountants of England and also fellow
of the Institute of Chartered Accountant of Nigeria.
He was the Financial Controller of Cheseborough
Pounds Industry Limited, UK for many years before
his secondment to Nigeria in the same capacity to
help in setting up the Cheseborough Pounds factory
at Isolo. From 1987 - 1989, Group Financial Director
of Christlieb Group of Companies. In 1990 he established
Transcommunication Limited and Globemark Nigeria
Limited, a company involved in mineral exploration
and mining. His Royal Highness is a Director of
many companies.
MR EMMANUEL I. IJEWERE; FCA
DIRECTOR
Mr. E.I. Ijewere is a fellow of the Institute of
Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN). A seasoned
professional and an accomplished businessman. President,
Nigeria Red Cross Society. Past President of ICAN
and President, Institute of Directors (IOD). He
is the Managing Partner of Emmanuel Ijewere and
Co., a firm of Chartered Accountants. He is a board
member of many companies.
